All new KCSiE updates have been included, all information has been compiled from relevant sources including the new guidance and is provided in an engaging manner. These slides have been produced by a trained NSPCC trainer and provide staff with up to date information that is accessible and explained through overviews as an introduction that can be supplemented by reading the guidance in part or full. These are editable slides that provide staff with interactive activities rather than following a powerpoint led by the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead.

This is a comprehensive overview of 51ºÚÁÏ that is required for the induction of new staff and the update of training that a trainer like myself would use as the basis for the 3 yearly 51ºÚÁÏ training update required for all staff working in schools. Topics covered include types of abuse, contextual 51ºÚÁÏ, procedures in schools, working practices, reporting and the responsibilities of all staff and volunteers in school. A great resource for supporting your staff with required training and information to refer to post training.

New Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023 update training slides written by NSPCC trained trainer. New requirements based on Filtering and Monitoring internet usage in accordance with the requirements from the Meeting digital and technology standards in schools and colleges documentation released in March 2023. This is a short, 30 minute, training session for staff or could be used to present to governors. It includes the relevant information for staff and governors, broken down into easy steps for different stakeholders in their roles. This is the perfect resource to support school leaders and DSLs with training staff or for school based staff to better understand their responsibilities around keeping children safe. Please note that slide 5 requires a small edit to make the slides relevant for each individual setting.

Do you want to do something different and innovative with your school’s performance management process? Do you want to build alignment in staff thinking, increase motivation and staff togetherness? This presentation will take you through the protocols of a performance management process involving teachers creating action research questions that evolve into new policy and procedures. I have used this in multiple settings and seen outstanding results in the development of new pedagogy that has resulted in the improvement of teaching across a school. This a presentation that can be delivered to teaching staff in a staff meeting or to a senior leadership team.

This slide deck was created for KS1 or lower KS2 assemblies to describe inclusion and the importance of being inclusive and having belonging. The metaphor of belonging is brought to life using a bespoke story and images of sea life to engage the children. Slides come with notes and a link for a sound scape to use as an opportunity for calling, thinking or meditation - however you see it working best with your pupils. Slides are editable and can be used as the basis for your own version should you wish.
